Back in the late 1960s Frank Wilcox, occasional actor on Beverly Hillbillies, started a Van Nuys restaurant called the Oak Room. On Tuesday nights they offered two dinners for the price of one and I and a friend, an old-time actor now long gone, would go there for lobster dinners. Buddy Ebson was usually there as well with his daughter on this night. The gentleman I was with had met and was acquainted with Ebson and decided to go over to the table and say "hello." Ebson spoke not a word but if looks could kill my date would have been dead on the spot. Frank Wilcox came running over and told the man I was with that no one is allowed to speak to Mr Ebson when he was there with his daughter. What struck me wasn't solely Ebson's ill humor but how scared Frank Wilcox seemed to be that Mr Ebson would get upset. I never watched Beverly Hillbillies again. 'Nuff said.

I was just sitting here browsing through pictures and came across a photo of Buddy. It reminded me of the days when my grandmother and I would watch Barnaby Jones. Those memories will last forever. Miss You! "Buddy" and "Grandma".

Hello Dorothy! I have such fond memories of my time dancing with Buddy in Branson and meeting you back in the early 1990s. It was a highlight of my performing career. Just wanted to let you know that I am in the process of publishing a memoir LONG LEGS & TALL TALES: A Showgirl's Wacky, Sexy Journey to the Playboy Mansion & the Radio City Rockettes. Of course, there is a chapter about my time dancing with Buddy. If you would like to read that chapter, I'd love to send it to you. It was such an honor to spend time with both of you. Hope you are well!
